Harmony Wellness Spa New Staff

Harmony Wellness Spa was born out of a desire to help our clients achieve better balance of mind, body and spirit enabling them to achieve optimum health outcomes. We created this peaceful and restorative space when we saw the positive impact our holistic approach to health and wellness was having in our Zen room.

The philosophy of the zen space is to provide all the products and professional services you would expect of a day spa along side wellness and spiritual peace. 

The Wellness Centre provides a beautiful and natural addition to the services and products we offer in our beauty clinic.

Mineral Soaker Bath that can accommodate singles or couples, an infra-red sauna, massage therapists, a naturopath and ever expanding skin &  beauty services allow clients to indulge in a variety of therapies and services that will soothe the soul and help alleviate ailments and body aches and pains.

Our staff come from a variety of backgrounds and are all eminently qualified to perform the services they offer. Perhaps even more important, they are passionate about listening to your concerns and creating a plan that works for you.

Our Luxury Spa is a haven of tranquillity offering an impressive list of beauty and spa treatments for our guests within South East Queensland. You would be working with exclusive signature and world class product collections, to decadent and soul pleasing spa rituals and spa facilities.

Harmony Wellness Spa Expectations

All valued Harmony Wellness Spa team members are to work to a consistently high standard. You are to be professional at all times, work with honesty and integrity, be responsible and accountable, maintain 5 star standards of presentation, cleanliness and hygiene, be punctual, contribute to a positive team work environment, attend regular training sessions and always respect our guest confidentiality at all times. We allow 60min lunch break on all rostered day to ensure adequate rest between clients on busy days.

Our core business is Massage, Body treatments, Spa and advanced facials, but our ultimate goal is relaxation. MASSAGE is a MUST for this role and a passion for helping our guests and feel relaxed is of the highest importance. We also provide our guests with the latest in cutting-edge beauty and Medi Spa treatments, Micro needling, microdermabrasion, skin peels,, and non surgical face and body lifts. if you have a passion for skin science and advanced Medi Spa skin treatments we also encourage you to apply.

As our spa is operated over 5 days you will be required to work rostered Saturdays and some evenings. One Saturday Per month is available to be rostered off as permittable.

CURRENT CASUAL ROSTER REQUIRMENTS until December 22nd.:

TUES 9AM -2PM ; WED 9AM - 7PM; (AS REQUIRED) 

FRI 9AM - 4PM; SAT 9AM - 3PM (DEFINATE)

We offer a minimum 5hour shift if you are rostered on that day.

We will close december 22nd - reopen 10th Jan 2023. So you will need to allow for this holiday period.

 

PAYS: PAY DAY is Tuesday of every week. Please have your bank details, superannuation, tax file number, full name and address details for records with you at the time of the interview.

Staff commissions and bonus are paid in the form of gift cards, no cash will be given.

Employee Check list induction You will be required to complete for your position. 

​

Induction & Training Requirements 

  • Job Induction Training 1-2 days

  • Technical Training for the position 7days

  • Sales Training - the services and products of Harmony Wellness Spa (ongoing)

  • Customer Service Training.

  • Confidential Employment conditions

  • Emergency Procedures including fire & safety

  • Workplace health and safety

  • Health and safety guide for the hair & beauty industry

  • Sterilization public health - infection control for personal appearance services. 

  • You will be issued 2 Uniforms required to pay a $50 bond per uniform (which will be held and returned at the completion of your employment should you leave and in good repair. All uniforms will be sent for laundry after each shift and required to be left on the spa premises, so please wear your own clothes to and from work.

  •  Please request if you would like this paid via your first pay slips or issues paying this bond.
